What an invoice needs to show in Türkiye.
An invoice in Türkiye carries:
- Your name or trade name, address, tax office and tax number
- Your customer’s name, address, tax office and tax number
- The date and a serial and sequence number
- The type, quantity, price and amount of the goods or services
- KDV shown separately

Can I issue official invoices in Türkiye from Openn Invoice?
Many businesses in Türkiye must issue invoices as e-Fatura or e-Arşiv through the Revenue Administration (GİB). Openn Invoice is not connected to GİB, so use it there for quotations, reminders and keeping track of who has paid.
I am not registered for KDV. Can I still use it?
Yes. Leave the VKN empty in settings and send invoices with no KDV on them.
Can I bill customers outside Türkiye?
Yes. Pick the customer’s country and currency on the invoice. A customer abroad is billed as an export, with no KDV added. You see the reason on the invoice before you send it.
What does it cost in Türkiye?
Free covers 5 invoices a month. Pro is $6 a month or $49 a year, with unlimited invoices, recurring invoices and bank statement matching. Prices for Türkiye are in US dollars and exclude local tax.
Are the app and the invoices in Turkish?
Not yet. The app and the printed labels on invoices are in English. What you type, such as item descriptions, notes and terms, can be in any language.
